Daniel Taub

Daniel Taub is an international lawyer and an Israeli diplomat. Mr. Daniel has been at the Yad Hanadiv Foundation as strategy and planning director. The British origin writer has served as an ambassador for Israel to the UK from 2011 to 2015.

 

Past Life

 

Taub was brought up in the United Kingdom. He completed his secondary school education at the Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School, Hertfordshire. The future leader has also studied at the university college, Oxford and Harvard University. In 1989, he relocated to Israel and served in the Israel Defense Forces as a reserve officer. He also took part in Chaim Herzog, president, speech writing before joining the Israel Foreign Ministry.

Daniel Taub has served in many legal, political and diplomatic posts when working at the Israeli Foreign Ministry. He understands the international law and has specialized in laws of war and counter-terrorism policies. He was the legal advisor of the Israel team to the United Nations in Geneva and New York. The expert represented Israel nation in several multilateral forums.

 

Daniel Taub was among the negotiating persons in the Israeli-Palestinian peace and Israel-Syrian processes. He led observers in the International Court of Justice proceedings on the security barriers of Israel. The skilled individual participated in Gaza flotilla investigations and start of the Red Cross society in Israel.

 

Ambassador to the United Kingdom

 

Taub became the Ambassador to the St James Court in 2011. He stressed on technology and trade links. Mr. Daniel partnered with Google and introduced Bizcamp competition. Daniel was voted for the Grassroot Diplomat Initiative Award due to his efforts of developing trade. It is under his tenure that the UK-Israel bilateral business raised to $8 billion.

In 2013, he joined the International Maritime Organization, London as the first Israel representative. He returned to Israel after completing his term as the legate in 2015.
