Fast forward to 2006, Paul Mampilly was hired by the owners of Kinetics Asset Management to manage their hedge fund. At an average of 26% returns year on year, Paul helped grow the hedge fund from $6 billion when he joined to $25 billion in assets. Barron’s noticed this success and named it one of the “World Best” hedge funds.
During the 2008 – 2009 world financial crisis, the Templeton foundation put on a prestigious investment competition and invited Paul to participate. Paul gave very impressive results by growing the investment from $50 million which they started with to $88 million within that challenging year. Ultimately, Paul got tired of the fast-paced environment of Wall Street and the idea of making money for just the super-rich and subsequently threw in the towel to at least spend some quality time with family and loved ones. However, Paul is still an avid investor and apparently, he doesn’t consider himself retired.
Today, Paul Mampilly works as a research and investment analyst, helping everyday people make money by teaching them how to maximize their return on investment of their hard earned money. He founded two very popular newsletters namely Profits Unlimited and Extreme Fortunes which provide sound investment advice and tips on getting further ahead in the competitive investment world.
